PORTFOLIO

WORDPRESS

Wordpress is not your parent’s blogging software anymore.

Labeled with this limitation, Wordpress has transcended to be my personal choice for a solid, flexible and usable foundation. It has allowed me to decrease my coding time and content update turn around. Sites that would have cost $5,0000 can now be built for $2,500. Even the simplest that would come in at $1,200 can be done for $800. And when I say simple, I mean up to 1,000 pages, e-commerce, reservation systems, custom template (custom looks for each page), event calendars and more. Oh, and a blog of course.

Many of the sites you will see in my portfolo have been built on Wordpress.

ABOUT

Jennifer Precious Finch design, manage, and code

As the daughter of an aerospace engineer, technology was always a part of my life, and like most kids, started with video gaming. I attended San Francisco University as a computer science major, but was distracted by a successful career as a musician and photographer. To fill up time between rock shows, I became a web publisher through the 1990s and extended my services as a content developer to AOL and other larger publishers, mostly involving entertainment. Frustrated with the programmers I worked with, I began coding my own websites. I took on my first paid clients in 1998 and although SEO was not an official discipline at the time, always kept a keen eye on keeping my clients in the search engine listings.
